"Mary, Certainty of Our Hope" is a Women’s Lent Retreat hosted by St. Denis Altar Rosary Society.  It will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, 8:30 AM-3:00 PM in the Parish Center (119 Virginia Ave, Manasquan).  Come share a day of encouragement in your journey with Christ. Come for prayer, rosary, Confessions, spiritual talks, time to share and quiet time to reflect. This Easter we will once again make Easter a bit brighter for children of Monmouth County helped through social services by collecting Easter basket goodies – chocolate, jelly beans, coloring books, etc. and baskets too.  The deadline for this collection will be March 31^st.  Thank you for your support!!!

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS, COURT SAINT DENIS EASTER FLOWER SALE will take place after all Masses on April 12th & 13th.  Three varieties of flowers are being offered this year- beautifully colored tulips (8 blooms), hydrangeas (4 blooms) and hyacinths (5 blooms).  An order form will appear in the April 6th bulletin.  As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

The St. Denis children’s choir is looking for additional children to sing Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the 11 am Mass. The children’s choir is open to anyone who is able to read. (No need to read music–come join us and make a joyful noise!). Practices for Easter will be held: Monday April 7th 5:30-6:15pm in the Parish Center Chapel, Monday April 14th 5:30-6:30 pm in the Church, and Saturday April 19th 10-11 am in the Church. **Confirmation service hours are available for those who need them by attending the practices and helping with Easter Sunday Services. The 2026 Mass Book and Sanctuary Lamp Calendar will open Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 9:00 am. Intentions will be taken at the rectory office. Please be aware that there is a limit of 4 Masses and 4 Sanctuary Lamps per person. There are still 2025 Masses (daily & Saturday morning) and Sanctuary Lamps available.

During the Lenten Season we will offer Children’s Liturgy for five consecutive Sundays, at the 9:30 am Mass. Participating children, ages 4-10, will be seated with their families for the Introductory Rites of Mass. The group will be dismissed to their gathering space downstairs to share an age-appropriate reflection on the Sunday readings. Everyone will rejoin their families prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist. We will celebrate Children’s Liturgy of the Word on March 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and April 6th. (We will not meet on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.) FIFTEEN:5 is a new Catholic Community of Faith, Family, and Friends. Our initial program, The Search, is for those in their 20’s, 30’s, & 40’s (single or married). Are you committed to improving your health - physically, mentally, and/or spiritually?   Be the best you can be, driven by Faith.   Our next meeting will be on Thursday, April 10^th at 7 pm in the St. Denis Parish Center.  Enjoy light refreshments, discussion, and fellowship with your peers.  Join us for a meeting to see what we’re about.  Bring friends, bring your spouse.  We’ll be adding other programs and events in future, including family activities. Love Lifts Us Up is a faith based organization that focuses on supporting families of babies and children who are patients at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Services include providing baby items (formula, diapers, wipes, car seats, etc.) to those who are in need, as well as providing gift cards for groceries and rides to and from doctor visits. This is temporary assistance until patients and families can secure more long-term services. We will be having a diaper and wipe collection at all Masses thru March 31st to support this initiative.  Donations may be left in the gathering space at the entrance of the church and the chapel or at the rectory office during normal business hours.
